Ay up lad. Brilliant ideas for Christmas presents. Thanks!

The OH was told that I wanted tools and when I went on about jigs and peening and sickles he just about recognised the word sickle. :-D Said he thought he'd stepped into a parallel universe. I want to do the peening. There is an Australian on YouTube that makes it look such an attractive pass time, sitting on his homemade peening stool. Very interested in that scythe in the link. Can't wait to see the neighbours faces if I do get it.

And tha knows me better than a knows me sen re. scything. Enjoyed watching girl in long dress scything on YouTube for example.

Was it one those boat courses that trained you in a fancy Rib to pick someone up from the water,when you'd most likely only have a leaky rowing boat to hand!
Those Brent Geese may even try to jam your outboard en masse(..erm..a joke)making for a tricky days boating.I'm guessing with the geese around it wasn't the warmest time of year,and this will also lead to an in poor taste, boat and goose bumps gag..erm,but not by me.:O
