I didn't take your message as a criticism but as a neat bit of lateral thinking! I agree wholeheartedly about not being serious, but sometimes find it annoying having to wade through post after post which have nothing to do with the original question / query.
I would certainly recommend not getting into the libellous stuff, but having said that, it ought not to deter anyone from expressing their own opinion, so long as they don't get personal about it. Off to take some autumn photos now

ps Is there a quick way of getting to these visitor messages? I seem only to find them by looking up my own profile from within one of the forums!!

Hello Teal, yes I got what you said.Well some people need a balance ,don't want everything serious and sombre ALL the time.I'm a bit of a comedian myself,and at first I thought this site was only for the experts,serious stuff only, and was about to withdraw graciously, but was encouraged to stay by people who obviously weren't of the dead serious ilk, or they wouldn't have done that.So I was relieved to discover that there could be a lighthearted side as well.It's mostly, if not all, men who do not like the fun stuff,and it follows that it's mostly women and younger members who do. Well, that figures I guess.I do think that less harm is done by the 'fun' than by religious and racist remarks, and possibly potentially libelous remarks,both of which I have read on posts (in the last 24hrs).I shall endevour to keep within the site rules,...I thank you for replying to my message, it was not meant as a criticism in any way at all, as I guessed Quality not Quantity.POSIE
