Don't worry about the name lol.
I should have planted it when I got it..
Strange it just died though suppose it didn't like the move.
At least my winter honeysuckle is doing well didn't notice flowers on that but it still young yet.
Hi Susie,
Do you remember that plant I brought last year I cant remember the name of it..
It had yellow and purple flowers that the bees loved.....
Well did you get one..?
I left mine out all year and it was fine so planted it in the garden this spring and it died it didn't like being moved..
Wondered if you had the same problem...
If you have no idea what I'm rambling on about I will have trawl through threads to find it lol..
She is 4 now.....
I have useful big holes everywhere so when she stops I have a ready made planting hole..lol..
I made the garden wildlife friendly as you do..Wildlife moved in like wood mice in the wood pile lol..
That's what she is after she is trying to rid the garden of vermin...lol...
yes digging and bending is very bad for your back...
The best solution is to relax with a glass of wine and rest it and get someone else to the digging..:D
I am shutting my eyes and putting the garden on hold while she is going throught this digging up my plant stage lol..
I really want another pond but atm will leave things the way they are..
Yes, I am..How are you..The dog is playing havoc digging my plants up..I have lost my Gunnera, Malope and my black lily's plus the grape vine I pruned and killed..
Good news is the winter honeysuckle is doing great.
Hello Susie! Just thought I'd let you know that the plants you kindly sent me for my pond are all growing strong - the cuckoo-flower has many flowers & buds on it! I'll get some photos and post them to the forum when the frog-bit & water-soldier I've ordered arrive in a couple of weeks and are in place. Cheers again!
No worries, dont be afraid to have a go. Although maybe in the summer one of the more active aphid eating species such as syphrus would be a better specimen. Its amazing how many they eat, far more than ladybirds. Its good to encourage this sort of thing as it helps have a good balanced wildlife garden.
