Aww sorry you cut yourself..I nearly chopped the end of my finger off with a sharp knife..the nail grows over the chopped bit..

Hope you get your money back and as long as the meat was fresh from the butcher it should be fine to freeze cut it up though so its easy to handle..

sounds like the motor has stalled. Can you freeze the meat..or get a new machine they do manual ones for around £25 at Lakeland..
