Hey sounds like you've been busy. I am about to be very busy as well, i have a rhododendron survey to do and a control spec after that. Then i'v got woodland surveys, a photo survey of the common grazings, a footpath furniture assessment waymarkers etc and an update of the amber survey.... we've a new tree inspection system coming in so there will be a course for that it's gonna be a busy one and i'v gotta help in the garden cos the gardener is off with tendonitis. Who said winter was the quiet time.

...glasgow!!! ...well not really i'm an edinburgh boy born ,if not totally bred, but a recent trip to that "dear green place" opened my mind a bit towards its natural world. the natives were indeed friendly ,and with the help of a local guide,namely my mate,and incidently my daughters boyfriend (don't ask it's complicated!),i saw my first ever kingfisher. all i saw was a very quick flash of azure,but deffinately one. a trip to the royal botanical garden was great too, several habitats...
