in a wood not far from here
a shot rang out, both loud and clear
a man lay dieing on the ground
he'd never heard that final sound
a musket ball had pierced his chest
that sent him to his final rest
but this was not just any man
for he was from the Campbell clan
and so they had to make amend
and called upon a local "friend"
one named stewart ,from ardsheal
and said to him ,now here's the deal
...

...glasgow!!! ...well not really i'm an edinburgh boy born ,if not totally bred, but a recent trip to that "dear green place" opened my mind a bit towards its natural world. the natives were indeed friendly ,and with the help of a local guide,namely my mate,and incidently my daughters boyfriend (don't ask it's complicated!),i saw my first ever kingfisher. all i saw was a very quick flash of azure,but deffinately one. a trip to the royal botanical garden was great too, several habitats...
