Roy I accept there is still lots to do in the conservation of wildlife, and appreciate your views and concerns , but i have recently just begun to realise how much of my time it has taken over many years, I have enjoyed it though, but i'm handing on to younger folks and taking a back seat in everything now. Sounds like i'm too tired to do anything and as DogHound suggests it may be selfish of me. I have to accept that, and afterall non of us know anything about each others lives and best not to assume anything. Peace and best wishes David. Ps i'll post a similar message to GH to try to temper his / her rath

On the cat issue what I meant was they are classed as wild animals in the eyes of the law and free to roam as they wish.
I don't see there would be a law to control them I didn't word it very well and didn't want to carry on hijacking the thread..

Found this in a hide near Wilstone Reservoir. Is that really him himself? I got quite excited thinking I was sitting in the same place as someone that famous had. :-O

Oh okay Roy,
Your gracious apology is accepted!
It's just that, I really look forward to coming on here & adding my tuppenth worth.
So, when I get knocked back for it and your not the only one who's done it to me, it's really very demoralising!
There is one particular forum I started to get an enthusiasm for but got put down on there, so now I don't bother & keep my pics & opinions to myself on that subject!
Sad but true.
On the whole WAB is a very friendly forum but sometimes it really can get quite hostile!

Anyway, as I say, apology accepted.
Of course we can still be friends & I'll still post but in what capicity, I don't know.
