Hi Davy, there will always be lots to do in wildlife conservation, and there will never be agreement about what is the reight way and the wrong way to go about it. Though I will tend to reply if I disagree with something that someone has posted, I will always try and respect their right to hold different opinions (as long as they try not to be rude about it!).
I have no doubt that when you were actively giving your time to conservation causes, you will often have disagreed with the views of others - it's impossible to always agree, and their will sometimes be times when our opinions are changed by those of others, and sometimes times where we hold fast!
Enjoy your 'retirement' from actively fighting for conservation (and of course, I mean no offence if I disagree with anything that you may post in the future!).

Roy I accept there is still lots to do in the conservation of wildlife, and appreciate your views and concerns , but i have recently just begun to realise how much of my time it has taken over many years, I have enjoyed it though, but i'm handing on to younger folks and taking a back seat in everything now. Sounds like i'm too tired to do anything and as DogHound suggests it may be selfish of me. I have to accept that, and afterall non of us know anything about each others lives and best not to assume anything. Peace and best wishes David. Ps i'll post a similar message to GH to try to temper his / her rath

Hi Davy, I'm happy to accept your friends request (hopefully it came after my most recent reply on the Ruddy Duck thread and you won't soon withdraw it ;o) ).
I never feel that people have to read replies, or links, and they are always entitled to their own opinion regardless!
We may have to 'agree to disagree' on the RD subject!
