I watched the game Tim and yes, the better team won but Preston can only get better next year. Alan Irvine will know who he wants to sign for next season and hopefully they will go up automatically.

Oh well. The better team won over the two legs, but we had a better than expected season. Hope we can go one better next year! Thats nine times we have made the play offs, and nine times we have failed, so i think a top two finish may be in order for us!! But, we had a great time in Sheffield, and the support that we took was fantastic. Hope all is well with you and take care.

I really hope they go up. Alan's dad is married to my Aunt and if he's anything like his dad he could talk them into promotion. That 6-0 win against Cardiff was priceless as they only beat them for the play offs by 1 goal.

We just made the play offs, Ron, just as you predicted. Just a shame Mr Irvine won Manager of the month. It has always been the kiss of death!! Hope you are keeping well.

Thanks for your kind comments on the pictures Ron. It is a lovely peacefull place, just right to sit with a flask and a butty and hope them pesky red kites come out for a play!!!!

Cheers Tim, Liverpool looked really good today but I think he will play a lot of reserves next week.
