Keep meaning to tell you that I love your ever-changing chimp avatars - always makes me smile! :-) I hardly visit peeps profiles, must do it more often!
hi ron -
I quite like weird critters and there are some weird ones here. For three summers, possibly more, I have photographed preying mantis in the garden and I would love some advice on them too. should I upload a photo, I feel rather awkward doing this as it is a site for british wildlife.
I have joined the WAWorld site and it is very friendly but does not have as many experts or the level of activity that this site has. They have helped me a lot with my swallowtail caterpillars 6 of which are pupateing somewhere, I hope, and the 7th is carefully contained with lots of fennel.
By the way the sticks have started to turn brown and are disappearing into the shrubery

Thanks for that Ron. I had no idea there was such beautiful scenery just outside of Glasgow. Yes, I know, pre-concieved, stereotypical and all that...I am guilty of it on this occasion, lol! D. x
Hello Ron,
Thanks for the comments on the Roe Deer, not been out far recently so it was nice to see some local action down the road, was hoping to see some young, but maybe this w/e.
Regards
Rob
