    There are many different hoverflies in the garden (TQ761687). I have a lot of photographs with dates in the EXIF headers. Are these of interest to the recording scheme?

    I have sent you a request to be added as a friend, the reason being that I feel that we have arrived here at cross purposes. I am very concerned that you felt my post was a negative one, it certainly wasn't intended to be. I have worked in all sorts of jobs, one of my objects has been to work with other people to improve the wildlife in the local area. I have worked as a volunteer doing GIS for the local ecological data centre, I have done the same with a wetland restoration project and I have (hopefully) helped to get some local graduates into similar roles to gain experience.

    You said that you found to your horror that when you got a job, there was a lot of politics involved. I agreed.

    The post has kept me thinking about what I posted for two days, I hope we can start again.

    i am not sure if you want records sent direct but here goes.
    Yesterday i had leucozona lucorum at ST 53788 67730 In bristol.It was posted on wab for id yesterday,under the title (is this a volucella),so that you can confirm id .
