good luck with the haymaking! V busy here too, visitor over from USA has got a very bad allergic reaction to poison ivy that he stepped in while in Atlanta, so bad we had to take him to hospital on Friday. he's back home with us now, but I'm still busy playing nursemaid... So glad we don't have the horrible poison ivy here, it's really vicious!!! Take care, try not to get too stressed... Karen x

Yes, scuba diving has opened up a whole new wonderful world for me, it truly is like being inside a huge tropical aquarium. Just fab. Dolphins and large pineal glands, well well, i never knew that, though I had heard before that they are not always the sweet gentle creatures that we believe them to be... Have often thought that we hear stories about dolphins gently guiding distressed swimmers back to shore - wonder why we never hear of any stories of them gently guiding swimmers far out to sea...??? Possibly because the swimmers never made it back to shore!! :)

Guess what, I've just done the same thing, sorry, you'll have to go to my page to read it..
There's prob a way of transferring it, but I am PC illiterate!

Am just laughing at the thought of my dogs in the wild... Yes, their lifespan would be VERY short, about 20 minutes I would guess!!! :) I saw the whales and dolphins program too, very cool I thought... I took up scuba diving last year and have seen dolphins several times from the dive boat - twice large pods of spinner dolphins, and once a group of really huge black dolphins called False Killer Whales. They were AMAZING, so graceful. Completely mesmerising.
Yes, what a shame I dont live closer. I work in Germany but spend my holidays in the South of England, either in Sussex with my parents or else in Wiltshire with my partner, so not really close to you... Shame as I would LOVE to see your amazing-sounding pond!

Hell0 Karen, lots of peeps reply on their own page, including me! So don't worry..Your dogs sound lovely.Yes it is sad when they get older..but I always say we owe it to them to make the right decision when the time comes...'Tis hard though...Anyway your Billy is OK at the moment, as long as he is happy, which you say he is..You just have to remember that a dog's lifespan is quite short, compared to ours, and in the wild it would be even less...
I'm just watching the Dolphins on BBC1..they are amazing creatures..Randy beasts the males are though, talk about a gang-bang..eek !
I've had a lot of info and good ideas about my pond, just got to make a plan now, *You gotta have a plan*..Pity you are not in this area, you could come and have a look..Posie.

Yes Karen, it is Flynn, my Malanois, Belgian Shepherd..To me he is perfect in every way, a perfect pet, companion, personal protection dog, and guard dog..He is also a perfect companion for Poppy, known as Puppy, who is a Staffy X Shar-pe...she is perfect too, though more mischievous, in a way..Bless !..What dog have you got?...Posie

Hi Posie, the photo was taken in Horsham, Sussex. There was a big bird of prey centre there; but I think they have closed now (the photo was taken a couple of years ago). Is that your dog on your photo? Very sweet... :) Karen
