- If you have a mo, do look at Rochard G.'s littel lamb in Images, a beauty:)
- Heehee does that mean I don't have to work anymore!!!???!!! :D:D:D
- Hi Poe (I spotted it before you did this time Hee Hee)
The reason for my previous questions about the lens and your digital camera was so I could check specifications. Your compact can do anything that your 35 mm camera with the lenses you have is capable of and a lot more besides. It has the macro capability of taking the same sort of close ups of wild flowers that you can see in my Gallery. It also obviously dosent need film, so there is no advantage to you using the old SLR.
Dave - Hi Dave, no rush on the camera , 'cos as Lori has given me a website to look up about it, I'll have a look there when I get time and feel I could absorb it, so , don't worry, 'cos I'll feel guilty if I then change my mind about using it, the mind is willing but the body weak, or the other way around, or both mind and body weak I think at moment..anyway for your interest it's 33mm.Might be going to get a web cam for duck today.shall I say I should be, My Brain Hurts just thinking about going..EEK..EEK..I need an Au Pair Technician....Living In..! ! If by digital compact you mean my little camera, it is a Canon PowerShot A580, and I've got all the accessories with it..it is..8.0megapixels..4x optical zoom..(2.5"lcd)...Posie..
- Hi Poe Sorry I've not been around much lately but I seam to hane gone from one extreme to the other with the sleep thing. Just a matter of time for the body clock to adjust I think. I'll PM you later about the photography stuff. Can you have another look at the telephoto lens and get the focal length? It will be printed on the body somewhere and given in mm, ie 55mm on the other lens is the focal length. What is the make and model of your digital compact?
- Morning - I wondered if your young neighbour would photograph your duck for you? I saw a mallard in the park yesterday with ten ducklings - Ma was looking as though she wondered where they'd come from:-)
- Not anymore unfortunately! I used to work with cattle. My husband was a herdsman as well so for most of my adult life I've lived on dairy farms & been around them. I love 'em, especially at this time of year (turn out) when you see some of the elderly ladies running & skipping about like calves as they're let out for the first time. Never fails to make me smile. Unfortunately hubbie now works with racehorses, so we don't live on a farm anymore.
