    Ay up, petal. I see you're up and about. What blooming miserable weather. Waiting for a calmer day to pop down to the railway quarry to see the Maidenhead Fern for a pic or two but it'll be blowing about like crazy.
    Very poor show with bats last night near Ambleside after a training session. Where have the swifts all gone in the village? Why haven't my tomatoes germinated? We are only a month off mid summer. Happy Sunday......

    Pauline, sorry for my delayed reply.. I am honoured that you put some images on especially through my nagging hahahaaa! i have just been to the Gallery for a look and yet again you have come up with some stunning shots.. one in paticular shocked and amused me hahaha i think you can guess which!

    Hi Pauline , hope all is ok with you? I havn't seen any of your fabulous images for a while? although the rate of uploads at the moment seems to be rather busy! I have been missing lots of great images from lots of people, well i just thought i would check in with you as i very rarely call in to say 'hello Pauline' lol.. by the way great images from your great WAB meet in??? Scotland?? was it.. I think?? sorry my memory is "awful" great and amusing pictures of the gang though, looks like you had a lovely time! take care

    Thanks for the other messages re the problem on WAB. It all works OK now so thanks for your efforts. On the day I had the problem but Ann (misty) my wife was OK and we were working on the same computer so we knew that we did not have a virus. Just strange. I had a great day out just at the end of April with a Kestrel flying alongside me on the coast, got some of my best shots. Keep taking good images Pauline and don't go throwing the camera over the wall.

    Just realised I had a bit of a "Senior Moment" last week when I booked the B&B in Arnside, I only went and booked for the wrong week dint I? Dhhhoo

    All OK though I called them today and fortunately the rooms available for the 22 & 23 May so they've changed it for me. Phew narrow escape or what?

    Hi Pauline Hope your both well.
    Just to let you know I've booked a room at the Willowfield guest house in Arnside for the wednesday and thursday nights prior to the weekend meet in may so I can suss the area out. If I can help by checking out any of the nearby places you intend taking us over the weekend let me know.

Don't know how blogs work so giving this a go to see what happens!

I mentioned in a thread yesterday that I had not one but three hawfinches outside the caravan for a few minutes .... I grabbed the camera and shot off a few frames but the windows are plastic and double glazed so the results were as expected pretty dire - however - even tho I rarely post a bad pic I'm going to post one now just to prove a point! If ONLY the window had been open or glass or I had been outside in the...
