..... a little forewarning that I'm about to disappear (to the isles for the third and last time this year!) just so the wab search and rescue party don't start wondering where I am and am I ok!! We've never been out there this late in the season before and are looking forward to what may or may not found: there should be plenty raptors with this seasons fledglings swelling the ranks but I suspect it may feel strange to us with no waders breeding or skylark singing ........ it will be an interesting visit and also celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary (thank goodness I've remembered to buy a card or two!!) Bye for a bit but back all too soon I suspect ...........

Err..... who said I was coping???! lol. Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.... ooooh can I have some! :D Yam and I been up to 2/3am past few days just catching up with stuff, it's the only time we get peace and quiet and can concentrate! Today is the first in the last 3 that I've actually got home for an evening (in my own house) and can catch up on things (washing, post, phone calls, e-mails etc.) - God I must have been wicked in a past life... or I'm a slave to lurve.. lol ;) :D

I'm hoping when kids get back to school and some resemblence of normality ensues I can get back on here a bit more often - here's hoping!

You got anywhere with the doc's yet?? Sure hope so :)

Yea I'm fine thanks... move went smoothly, James is happy here as am I, Yam and I went to Malta just before my move then just after we went with the kids to Center Parcs in Cumbria for a week (saw my first live red squirrel there!!) ...so has been all rush rush rush these past few weeks as per my life atm lol! We've big plans for the business right now so are upto our eyeballs into getting a new website up and live and moving the business from Yam's house to a unit shortly - fart?... time too atm - NO! lol :D

Not had much time for WAB sadly, but pop on when I can to catch up with peeps like you ;)

Hey don't knock complaining to the docs - you know there's something up so keep at them ok! Point in case, my brothers long-time girlfriend was in A&E most of night 3 weeks ago with cronic chest pains, couldn't breathe etc... they said - nope yr not having a heart attack -bye! :S Sent her home with paracetamol and alot of pain!! Bro got on internet, bunged in her symptoms and diagnosed gallstones. She went to her GP 2 days later and yep... she's got loads of the little blighters!! Radio waves should sort her out when she can get in for treatment, but still beggars belief eh! Keep going on at them and get it sorted ok, afterall no-one knows yr body better than you! ;)

Grandma was 95 this week!, and for a change she behaved herself on the big day and didn't cause auntie Di any trouble other than forgetting who Di was lol! Methinks she got tiddly on the one glass of wine she had at lunch lol :D Hoping to get down to Sussex to see her in next couple of weeks :)

Rusty seems a bit better in himself,he has actually gone ahead of me on our walks,something he wasnt doing a few weeks ago-then he was trailing behind me.Ok he isnt as fast as he was but he seems more alert at the moment.Hopefully the tablets will help....
I dont like this sort of weather either.I always say I can get warm when its cold,but cannot get cool when its hot! Its been murder at work too-really hot and stuffy! I have next 3 days off_hooray!_but 2 of them days we are having my nieces to stay.Needless to say they will run me ragged,but its fun too...as long as they dont start bickering,then I tell em to go out in the garden as I cannot stand the sight of blood lol

Yes fingers crossed for Rusty,it may have been something he nibbled at or picked up on walks,he was originally a stray and even tho we have had him for 10 years old habits die hard!!! He also picked up a tic(first one ever) a few months ago and I have been wondering if that may have caused the infection? Keep forgetting to asked vet that one,will try to remember to ask next time I see her.
Reading between the lines I can see that maybe you are having problems(too strong a word perhaps?) with mam.Hope you are coping and not getting too stressed.....

Had the results of Rustys second blood test and the results were promising.The ALT levels had dropped from 300 in first test to 196 in this one.Vet was pleased but said ideally they need to drop to around 100.She said a course of tablets which help the liver to recover may help,so thats the course we are taking.At this moment it looks like he has had an acute liver infection-fingers crossed tablets will work.Have a months supply and then he will have another blood test....
