Oh and PS I've begun writing up my holiday 'oddessey' 2009 but it will take ages as pics can only be uploaded five at a time every 24 hours - I should just about be ready to post when I'm off again to the isles ............ heh! heh"!

Soooo.... I must have murdered someone important in a past life ...... yesterday we had a severe rain storm here and our roof leaked - water was coming thro the bedroom ceiling and dripping off our fancy light rose fitting onto Ian's side of the bed ...... (that's ok then!!!!) Fortunately I was in when it happened (mam was on her perch on the settee and couldn't see what the fuss was all about) when I could get my legs moving I put the washing up bowl under it and switched off the lights circuit at the mains. Also fortunately the duvet was turned down as usual and missed a wetting. We still have the lights off - thank goodness its not the walls and the plugs too otherwise I wouldn't still be on here or seeing a bit of telly - small mercies and all that. So on Mon I have a check up on my teeth implants in Burnley, the insurance assessor is coming and the gynacologist and his camera up my chuff in the afternoon - a normalish day you might say ............ Argghhhhhh!

Thanks for enquiry ellen - hope all ok with you? I've got withdrawel symptoms for WAB at the mo! Just about finished hol Gallery on my zenfolio site tonight - I'm 'pow-fagged' (to use Leigh terminology!) with it!! Results of blood test tonight show little if anything out of the ordinary. I've been sent for on Mon for day surgery - an examination and little camera in a personal place (to put it mildly!) I'm glad they are taking it serious and checking very quickly if I've got cancer - its very calming in a funny sort of way. More later.

Thanks ellen - I've put quite a mix of the first raft of photos up in a Western Isles Gallery on my zenfolio website this evening - more to come later this week hopefully depending how busy I get - and eventually I will write up and post on here too as I did for last year ........

Just left a message on the skylark photo in zen! I would have no idea how to rescue that,dont even understand half of what you were saying.I have a lot to learn when it comes to editting photos,I use adobe elements and know I am losing out on getting better results through my ignorance :)
Made me laugh your graphic description on finding out you had taken a shot with wrong setting though.....

Funny enough I understand what you are saying! One things for sure,if it is bad news the treatments nowadays are so much more successful than even 10 years ago.Its a fact more people survive than die from it!
Will be checking zen soon to look at them pics
Hoping the news isnt as bad as you fear though,thinking of you....:)

Still wading thro pics inbetween hospital visits and apps (three days on the trot to Leigh Infirmary - they will all know me by my first name in a bit!) I've had a scan which was booked before the hols to check my overies but cos of the severe uterine haemorrhage I conjured up out of nowhere and without warning while on hol - Ive now to see a gyne person in the next 2 weeks to make sure it isn't endometrial cancer. I'm not worried - I've been afeared of cancer for years - so my reaction is laid back at the mo until I know there is (or isn't) something to worry about. Some of my pics have gone on birdguides and the next couple of days I hope to update my zenfolio site. Apologies for leaving here till last - but the 5 a day limit is difficult and I haven't the time - but I will eventually get around to the tale of the hol and the pics ..... bear with me!
