- 20-10-2009 11:06 PM - permalinkGarden CarpetI imagine it is a lot like having a child sometimes. It must be very hard to know what to do when she is like that. Does she like going shopping?
Take care and keep smiling... jaki xx - 20-10-2009 08:25 PM - permalinkGarden Carpethello there, yup.. all is well with us.. I am home for a couple of days now.. till Friday when I go to the 'hilton' again.. Henry made a wonderful bird feeder and it does a grand job attracting the budgies... yesterday a Marsh Tit visited the nijer about twenty times.. reckon she/he was cacheing ready for the winter.. and this morning... a Great Spotted Woodpecker on the peanuts. Wonderful stuff! Sorry to hear things are up and down for you, as I said before.. if you want to scream, cry or have a giggle... phone us.
jaki xx - Thank you :)
Never used a friendship system before. It's fun <g>
Daughter and I are still enjoying looking though your website. Now thinking of upgrading to a DSLR instead of a bridge camera. Took note of your post in 2008 discussing the Sigma 105 :)
I took a week off posting in order to get some new artwork done, and have been struck down by the dreaded lurgy the whole time. Looks like it will be two weeks away now :(
Hope you're keeping well yourself :)
Cheers,
Andestine - Rusty had the stitches out today-he has healed well.Took him for a short walk to the castle,he was off all over the place!!When he has next blood test in December(for liver !) vet will check him over to see all is well in that area!
Sorry your mam is leading you a merry dance-must be very hard to keep your cool at times eh? Have no advice or tips to give on that score, but I can fully empathise with you:)
At the moment I am only dipping into WAB as I still have problems sometimes when trying to reply to threads.I either get timed out or it freezes.I am hoping that as time goes on it will be as it was.Any other website I have no trouble with!!!If you want I can pm my email address,to keep in touch.....
Ellen - Hi Pauline, yes I sent you a private message a few days ago...
Mum is ok and been finishing off painting the fence(although I have got to get on hands and knees doing the bottom of the panels:)
Rusty is recovering from an operation to remove a tumour from his ahem-anal region! Thankfully it wasnt nasty and the stitches will hopefully be taken out wednesday.Cant wait to go back out on my regular walks weekend-all we have been doing are road walks!
Its been a hectic few months and thats why I havent been on here so much-that and I have to admit going on Facebook to sort out my nieces farms and fish tanks(games that are addictive lol). That in itself takes up an hour of my time, honestly the things I have to do for them!!!!
Hope you had a good time on your last hol and thank you for thinking of me-its nice to know I am missed:)
Hope your mam is ok,take care
Ellen x - Sounds like fun - not been on a foray for years! Jez says there are some unusual ones on a pine tree stump back home. Sent him your love and it cheered him up - he's feeling sorry for himself! :) Can't wait for the caravan sorted out so I can go back home!
How's life going with you - you didn't say? xxx - Will do - speaking to him later on today:) It's turned out to be a bad chest infections - so hoping the antibiotics have now kicked in.
How's you? Naomi xx - Well I'm glad to hear it and yea... I know all about aching bits atm lol. With all this physical work we're doing at the unit I can't wait to slide into a hot bath of a night and loosen my muscles off!!!
Nope, not a dicky bird from the police about Yam's car. Had the offer of the use of a Discovery for the show from our Unit landlords son - that was a lovely gesture eh! May well hafta take him up on it too if nothing else happens in the mean time.
We've been at the unit all day again and are making good progress. PM me your email and I'll send ya some pics later this weekend so you can see what I'm wittering on about lol! Seems like a big game of solitare atm as we have to keep moving stuff about coz it's in the way, then move it again, then again!!! Yam and I have got a fair bit of racking up now though so things are coming together slowly and we've got the joiner here this weekend too, so windows, doors and skirting boards are being fitted to the offices now - yay! x - Finally got over the exertions of Clumber .... gave in yesterday and took ibuprofen - the last resort - but its worked and I feel sooo good this morning I could bite chunks out of the table top!! Need to get the house tidied up tho which may set me back a bit by tonight - but its like a bomb has hit and I hate it messy! Plans afoot to make the most of the end of the fungi season - as despite the heavy rain here in the north west the forecast is for frosts soon - we've had one already this week - must get out and about this next week .........
