Me too! They've just had a couple of bad results after a good run, but still have a good chance of being in the playoffs. It's been a disappointing season really, but there's still a chance it can end well.

I've still got my fingers crossed for Luton, Pete

Hi pleb,
I certainly hope you are right! Logically, if they manage to keep most of last season's squad together, then they should have a very good season - after all, if it wasn't for the 30 point deduction they would have been mid-table in League Two.
I can't believe the start of the football season has come round so quickly!
Regards,
Pete

I hope it all goes well for Luton Town on Saturday at Wimbledon. I have a strong feeling that this is the year that Luton turn the corner and begin the long climb back.

Hi Phil,
Yes 'gutted' is just the right word for it. It's only three or four years since they were on the fringes of promotion to the premiership!
I used to watch them regularly when they were in the old Division One in the 80's, but happened to move away from the area on the very day they got relegated (just missing out on the first year of the Premiership). I then lived near Ipswich for about 12 years, and so the last couple of times I saw Luton it was at Portman Road. Since moving back to the Luton area, I just haven't got back into the habit of going to games.
Having seen them play in all four league divisions, it would be a novelty to see them as a non-league team, so I might go to a game next season. I hope they'll be back next year!
Regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
You must feel gutted seeing Luton Town drop out of the League. I expect to see them come straight back up next year. The last time I was at Kenilworth Road was to watch a match between Luton and Ipswich in the old Div. 1..........quite a few years ago.
Keep believing,
Phil
