Been checking out other links to Ashridge and looks like the end of April to the second wk in may is good for the Bluebells...snowdrops could have a good show already ...like you im getting over a headcold a the moment ...too much playing around in the snow the other wk...hope you get better soon..:-0

Hi Julie,
Don't know about the snowdrops, but last year the Bluebells peaked in the first week of May. Haven't been up to Ashridge for a couple of weeks (I've got a cold and sore throat at the moment), but if I go soon I'll report back on the snowdrops. I should imagine they'll be fully out very soon, as they're coming out here in my parent's garden.
Have you seen that there's a group been formed on WAB for those of us in Beds, Bucks and Herts? We might have a 'meet' somewhere, sometime - I suggested Ivinghoe Beacon.

Hi ther Pete...As you seem to visit more than i do a the moment would you be so kind in letting me know when the snowdrops/bluebells are out and about in Ashridge..;-)

I went this monday just gone..a little dull but still managed to get some good shots..plenty of fungi around but needed to take your time as loads of fallen leaves around..Saw a lovely Stag and heard him with his little herd of girls last week..very impressive close up..

Hi ther Pete ..the colours at Ashridge are simply stunning at the moment ...you should try and get over there soon before its lost for another yr..
