Hi Pete,
No problem. It was good to catch up with you at last too. I think you're right about the Marsh St. John's Wort. I had a look at your pic and there is definitely leaves of that plant present and the flower looks as though it just hasn't opened up properly yet.
Nowt new for me but it was good to revisit some classic heathland and meet some more WABbers.
Cheers,
Adam

Hi Adam,
It was great to meet you at Thursley! Thanks yet again for some more flower IDs, I think I got six or seven new species. Not sure if the other odd yellow flower I saw was another Marsh St John's Wort or not, I've posted it on the Thursley thread anyway.
I took over 250 photos on Sunday, not many by some people's standadrds, but arecord for me!
Regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
No worries. I might wimp out tomorrow and do the same thing work permitting. Tomorrow I have to take some friends out to our tern rafts to ring the chicks. Always a smelly, messy job, but quite fun too. Thursley is not much cop if it's wet and windy.
Cheers,
Adam

Hi Adam,
Sorry to say I might miss you at Thursley this weekend, as I'm now going on Sunday rather than Saturday (because the weather forecast is better). Hope to meet up with you at a WAB meet sometime, anyway.
Regards,
Pete

Hi Adam,
Thanks very much for the friendship request! And thanks again for all the ID's you've done for me.
Just seen your conversation with Hedge Witch below - I hadn't noticed her new avatar before, but I've visited the church at Sarratt where she took the photo. Small world!
