Hi Pam, hope the game went well! did they win today? bet it was a cold one!
We didn't end up at the zoo as my nephew who was coming too was just over a tummy bug, so stayed closer to home.....
We went to Chasewater country park, took them on the steam train to see Santa and then off to feed the birds :) It was lovely and sunny but a tad cold....lovely though and the boys had a great time

Hi Gess, just walked along local stream yesterday. Both girls are tied up with rugby today, so are we! Will take the cameras today though. Dudley zoo is OK now. We went last year. It has improved so much. There is an area where you can walk through the Limas & get really close, & a hot house with lovely little marmazettes. Take your camera if you go. I remember it from my childhood in the days of cuddles the killer whale- terrible.

I'm good thanks :) hope you've enjoyed the weather today, I imagine you have had a nice sunny day too, can you believe I didn't get out! I'm babysitting my friends son until tomorrow evening, so have to entertain :)
Thought about going to minkey forest tomorrow, but its shut intil feb. Now possibly considering Dudley Zoo....
Did you get out and about at all?

Thanks for the comment on the photos :) It was certainly fresh here today! very dull to start but clouds broke later this afternoon, managed a quick walk after I took my daughter back to uni........certainly cleared the head! :)

Wyre forest is not somewhere I have been, will have to look it up. Sounds like you had a good time there :) look forward to your pics! :)

Hi Gess, We`ve had a nice couple of days in the Wyre forest. (School holidays). Wonderful display of colours. We saw a deer come bounding past, surprisingly quite a few birds & a wonderful Kingfisher! I will catch up on my photos & post some Sun or Mon.

thanks for the comment on my pic, it was a very refreshing walk, managed to get off work a bit early :) got a couple of shots of a stag too, not brilliant quality though as the light was too poor, nice to watch though

Hi Gess, glad you had a nice day at the chase. We went to the wyre forest a couple of weeks ago, hubby saw one group but they bolted before I saw them! Never heard any bellowing. Sometimes it`s good to take a step back from taking photos & enjoy the day for what it is. A walk in beautiful countryside.

Hi Pam, thanks for the comment on the photo, much appreciated. The Fallow Deer are Rutting at the moment but haven't managed to get any really good shots but that was another reason for going, saw a couple of Stags chasing each other and bellowing but too dark for good pics, oh well was a nice walk :)
