I was there today and they have all recovered as the cemetery workers said they would.... to many said they should have tried to kill them off but the staff new better and fortunately "said no!!" and now all is back to normal, less a few tatters of the shrouds on a few trees.
Hi Pam & thankyou for your well wishes.
If all goes well I'll only be out of action for 2 weeks, worst case senario 6 weeks. Hoping for the former but the later is probably more likely.
Hi PAm, not sure I replied when you posted backin August, so just in case here goes.
We haven't really noticed how Clarach has developed, little by little over the years. Our first holiday at Aber was 79 but the Cliff walks started a bit after that...I know we did Clarach and back lots of times when the children were young and it was only later that the continuation to Borth took place never with more than two of the three.
I found the dunes fascinating and have early memories of ragwort with Cinnabar moth caterpillars....now our favourite pursuit is to go out on the submarine "delta" at low tide shelling...and I also collect string and fishing line....I could fancy adopting Ynyslas for the Marine Conservation Days sometime but would have to organise a big event to make it worth the effort: I couldn't be fussed driving all that way for a couple of hours which seems to be the going rate of most of the events in the area. Not sure how it went this year It is on this weekend.
Hi Pam, thanks for the VM. I'm always a little cautious about pointing out spelling mistakes as I'm the biggest culprit on hear! I look forward to visiting it again, keep it up.
Back - just! Had a great time, we didn't want to come back and Jez is planning our trip to Pembrokeshire next May :)....We seem to have got the holiday bug!!! :D:D:D Speak soon - when are you back down this way?
