Sorry loripo I started to reply but the laptop battery took the rest of the day off!
If you read Habitat.com you will see how a good daily news works David Brear has it off pat! I think WAB started a similar news page (top of the page)
The best way with scanners is to post images the last ones I did were of fishing lures,
spinners in fact.

Was thinking of starting a thread along the lines of "In the News" ( I saw something on teletext about a vegetarian spider) not to attract any replies - just for info. Possibly in General Wildlife as that's more visible than the Treehouse. Others could then post anything they come across. What do you think?

PS I tried to resurrect the scanner thread but so far no interest - I wondered if anyone had found it useful in recording samples etc.
