Nearly made it to Stockers Lake yesterday, but the Aquadrome CP was closing within the hour, and I had no Google Earth to help me out. Having got back and studied it, I still can't find anywhere.

But one day I will see owls in Herts.

No, didn't post those photos on here, you were right in saying they're not wildlife photos - we had a set subject for this month's competition, old and new, and I submitted one photo of an old building with modern sculpture in the foreground, and another of an old victorian standing tap with a bright yellow hose from B&Q wrapped around it! I don't really have that many good wildlife photos, landscapes/flowers maybe, but not birds or animals -it's impossible to get a top quality photo of those unless you have a massive lens!

I haven't really had chance to post much, but hope to get a bit of spare time next week to read through the local group sub-forum, its great reading about what's happening locally.
