Hi M, RE. bat detector. I cannot say, it was a prezzy ;-) No idea if it's any good, not had chance to use it yet. It wasn't the one I wanted, but it was too much hassle to send back. I don't even know where it is at the mo.
Re. the skull, I will do it soon, but I'm having a bit of a posting holiday at the moment.

Aw, thanks Dawn :) ... things have been going fine for me and OH now .. apart from that I've had a stinking cold the last week and been really miserable with it! Dont think I've ever had such a bad one in all my life (and it's really come at the wrong time!) Haven't even felt up to posting or lurking on WAB that much, hopefully will take a look in at the local forum some time next week when I'm feeling a bit more up to it!

Hi Mungo. I've not been around on WAB much lately as we've got all sorts of things going on that are taking up most of my time. So I'm just snatching an odd minute or two. Not getting out much either, though the activity in the garden is hotting up. Two very large frogs in the pond today lurking by a big clump of spawn and countless newts. Also speckled wood butterflies, holly blues and painted ladies. Not for the first time I wish I had a better camera.

Hi Mungo, I'm feeling a bit useless to the HBB group at the mo, 'cos we haven't been out much lately. Anyway, to make amends, I thought I'd start a thread in "meetings and events" and send everyone in the group a link to subscribe. Then when something important appears in the HBB group, we can use that as our noticeboard (with a link back). We can also post the odd picture or link in the thread. What do you think though?
