- Hello Linda, thanks for the comment on the Cranes. THey were a real bonus on our way home from being up in Yorkshire. How are thing at your end ? It was good to be back up in Yorkshire and we made a visit to Fairburn Ings and what a surprise with all the work the RSPB have done over the years I have been down here. I know Dave went and now I know why he liked it so much. You must get him to take you the next time you are in the area. Hope all is well. Richard xx
- Hi Linda, I have really enjoyed your recent shots on Yorkshire, they have brought back many happy memories when I lived up there and was walking the fells on a monthly basis.
Looking forward to more of them.
Richard - Hello Linda. Just thought that I would let you know that you can now view the book on our trip to the Antarctic in full. If interested go to Blurb.com. In the search box type in Richard Collier then click on South Bound. At the bottom right is a button that will give you a full screen. If you view I hope you will enjoy the landscapes and wildlife shots.
Richard And Ann - Thanks Linda. We have had a great trip but now the hard work, I have taken just short of 7000 photos and Ann is about the same. Probably reduce it by at half on the first look. A lot of duplicate shots and rubbish. We only lost one day at sea due to a big storm over two days. We were in a force 9/10 with 30ft waves so it took a day longer to get to the Antarctic but we did manage a landing. Great wildlife and super landscapes so will be starting on a new photo book within the next week. Hope to have it done within a couple of months. Great to hear from you.
Richard and Ann. - Wishing you all the best for 2013 Linda.. Hope you are well?
Lisa x - Hi Linda, Should have done this a while ago but due to me being a scatter brain i "forgot" :) Just a little note to thank you for accepting my friend request, look forward to seeing more of your lovely images!talk to you soon
Lisa - Thanks for the recent comment,Linda. Just thought I would drop a quick note to see how your Dorset trip went. Out trip to Walws was not great, weather really wet and we had a few issues with our nephew's wife. Normally Ann gets on really well but not sure what is wrong or just the tension of 3 children, a dog and a husband in the army. Who knows?
Hope you had a good trip and did you see any white deers? - Ann just told me about your next visit, can't believe we are in South Wales doing a Christmas gift run but it is the only chance. They manage to get us an army house on the same estate for us to stay in at a cost of £20 per day. Great value so we are going for 4 days of hell, a mad dog which I can control and 3 children,a set of twins less than 12 months and the other just gone 2. The dog will give me one day escape with luck and good weather. No, the weather can be awful and we will go.
- Hello friend again, nice set of deer shots you put on the other day. I have a liking for all deer they always look great what ever species or colour. Thanks also for the Kimmeridge Ledges comment, a shame about the whale but it is now a food source for the birds. Must let us know when you are next in the area and if we are about we will meet up. May look for that white stag?
