- Glad you had a great day and your friend full filled his ambition of a life time.
Are you getting many Bluetits in your Garden this year as i seem to not be getting many at all, just a coal tit visiting.Making me think that numbers are really down for blue tits.

Barquar - hi
not bad. quite a few common lizards and six adders. no grass snakes though. i was extremely relieved to find the adders...i was showing someone around who had travelled all the way from mansfield in notts as he had been trying to see adders all his life without any luck. he is due to emigrate to america in the next few months and wanted to fulfil a lifetime ambition before he went...no pressure! at least he went home happy.
cheers
tim - Hi marvin Did you have a great day on Wednesday and did you find many Adders.
Barquar - When your online if you click on your name that is with all the other names it will bring you into your messages.not your name on your avatar.
Hope you understand that.
Barquar - My daughter took photos of Grass snakes at Stockton brook, were abouts did you find them at Stockton brook. We saw them just of the canal near the otherside of a wall sun bathing.
Barquar - hi
sorry i didn't get back to you sooner..i've only just noticed the message.
i find most of my reptiles at burntwood nature reserve Staffordshire Wildlife Trust . common lizards are easy to find, adders and grass snakes more difficult and i am yet to find a slowworm there. however, i have only been looking there for just over a year and so i'm still learning about the site.
i also take one trip a year to cannock chase where adders are more common and i tend to go to stockton brook for grass snakes.
if you are planning a trip to burntwod let me know and i can give you some specific advice.
cheers
tim - hi Marvin do you mind if i ask were you took the photos of the adders i would love to see them, will understand if you wish to keep the site to yourself.
