Did you manage to photograph anything on your last visit?
I was out yesterday & really wished I had brough a camera, there was a juvenile buzzard sitting quite nonchalantly on a Scots pine, also later on a pair of Ravens my number 1 favorite bird flew by slowly, gently doing some wonderful areobatic work & that wonderful cronking call :)
Yesterday was extremely physical free, sweeping leaves & refilling bird feeders ^ ^
Hope you are well,
Kevin..

It must have been freezing cleaning out the two teaching ponds and cutting back some of the trees, but satisfying as well:) Glad your back was okay. Not strenious?!! Chris is a clever conman:D :D :D If he ever says it might be a little hard, then run as fast as you can back to your car:D :D :D
I'm off up to Vane today, as I'm having lunch with Laura. I might try and take some photos while I'm there, although to be honest I am the worst photographer in the world, nay universe!!
I got a begging phone call from Andrea on Monday, she wants me to help out with the childrens event this Saturday, but I'm not sure if I will have the time or not - it's hard to say no!:)
I love Pintails too!:)
All the best

Greetings Tracey,
I didn't make it out on monday, but was out today...
Chris convinced us today's job wouldn't be strenious, damn he's a good conman I nearly did my back in :) we cleared out unwanted vegetation from the two ponds, wouldn't imagine this would be tough but I assure it was, well for me ^ ^
then it was up the trail cutting down some small tress that obscured the view onto the wetlands from a couple of benches..
Nothing special out on the loch today, well a few Pintails which I always love seeing..

Hi Lovfinion,
it's cold out there, so if you're off to Vane make sure you wrap up warm:) What sort of things has Chris had you doing so far? Have a good day and don't do anything to strenuous:) Let me know if you see anything interesting.
Tracey:)

Heya Tracey...
Ah silly me I didn't realise that, thanks for telling me how :)
I didn't make the sea eagle talk, not sure if that was the early Saturday talk, if so it was a little to early, bet it was great though..
I'm out tomorrow, hopefully Chris has some light work for me, but something tells me that is purely wishful thinking..
I'm sure we'll bump into each other some week at Vane farm, Though I look forward to helping out with the nest boxes... :)

Hi Lovfiion, sorry I didn't know you'd answered. What you have to do is click on my name, which will take you to my profile and type your answer there:)
Sorry re your back, hope you're feeling better now.
I heard about the Spoonbill, but after the event as usual:) Did you go to the Sea eagle talk the other week at Vane? Claire is really passionate about her Sea eagles and who can blame her, I'm very jealous of her amazing adventures!:)
I'm up at Vane usually once a week for lunch, so I can catch up with friends and find out what is happening on the reserve and realize how much I've missed:)
All the best
Tracey:)

Hi Lovfinion,
how are you doing? Have you been up to Vane recently? I was suppose to be up there today to have lunch with a friend today, but banged the side of my car last night, as you do! There was a talk last night at Vane about Sea eagles, it was quite good. What sort of things do you do when you are vollunteering? I've still to update the maps for the nest box survey, work in progress:D :D
By the way Ron (see below) is not from Scotland, as we don't have chimps in Scotland, not native ones anyway!
All the best.
Tracey:)
