Hi Lori, I feed my chickens layers mash which you mix with water, the wild birds are always eating it so I guess it's okay. Layers pellets would be the same recipe but I found them extremely hard. Chickens can grind them but wild birds may not be so good at that but if crushed they might take it. I would try feeding it separately at first to watch how they take it.

I tried a thread but it's so busy it's now way down the page. As you keep chooks maybe you will know, Can you feed Layers pellets to wild birds? My daughter has Arcunas and has been putting the unused pellets on the compost, but wondered if a little mixed with seed would be OK for tits, robins etc.
