Late... not sure! That site says the adults are active all-year, but during the colder months I expect it means hibernating in adult-form with maybe a chance of wandering imagos during mild spells? Feel free to add it; it is now a 'Sticky' to be found at the top of the Invert board :)

Yes thanks - just having someones head in one's mouth rootling about is something I hate:) I can usually distance myself from things - what is it they call that when animals do it? LIke chickens playing dead. But I'm a wuss at the dentist.

Thanks - not sure if externals work with Linux though! If you're interested, PC W**ld may still have their offer on a 320Gb external hard drive for just £49.99! I considered that for the data transferral until I realised. Thanks!

You must get an external portable drive. Just got a 250GB one from Rymans but havent tried it yet. All my files are on a mix of DVD & USB - there but messy. Fingers crossed for you.

Nah, I was pretty concerned TBH. I thought of stopping at one point, but then thought that as it doesn't work anyway I have nothing to lose, and only 3Gb of important files to gain. If I did have iron nerves, I'd consider opening up my working one and swapping the hard drive over...
