Thanks for the video they love the snow dont they..this is my stupid dog going mental in the snow.. YouTube - Funny Dog in the Snow
That's me laughing at her lol
Ref your spider and the genitalia which are only visible using a microscope.......well, inter-species comparisons are not necessarily odious ;)
But I'm happily well past such pleasures now :)
The tree-related do I was at yesterday was full of admirable heroic chainsaw-swinging eco-warrior types but the most fascinating man in the room was a naturalist in his seventies. When I told him I was 'past relationships' he stated that he definitely wasn't! :) But friends we will be, and have planned many a one-to-one walk by the sea where he'll give me the priceless gift of a lifetime of knowledge about nature together with journeys back into Guernsey's past, including childhood tales of the occupation :) Can't wait!
What's in a person's mind is far more attractive than what can be discerned with the aid of a good microscope ;) But I guess that with spiders, if the male really knew what was in the female's mind, we'd never more be graced with 'Happiness Dropped from Heaven' :)
No, no other message. That explains it then.
I occasionally find messages meant for me on other people's profiles, weeks after they wrote them. Always a pleasant surprise. :-D
Hi Lori, Was I cheeky asking for holly do you think, LOL? Just reckoned the poppies must have wilted by now. :-O
Confused by your VM from yourself but signed by Andestine. Doesn't take much to confuse me though.
Hope everything is OK with you.
Deb
Lori,
You posted 'High Flight', one of my all-time favourites! It makes me quiver and come close to crying every time. So sad about the author...
I hadn't heard of Prayers from the Ark, but now I have to find the rest...and the butterfly sounds very familiar somehow ;)
But your prayer from the snake is really wonderful. How come I missed the fact that you're a poetess last year? I'll want to see everything you've written now.
I can't write a line of poetry, but I adore it, so will definitely post something before long. Eleanor's in agony with the worst case of Strep throat ever. A friend has arrived home from Madagascar with some as-yet-unidentified tropical disease, my closest friend has just lost her sister, and cyberfriends from around the world seem to be coming down with flu simultaneously and are soliciting virtual cuddles and home remdies!
I barely have time to answer posts at the moment, but the real world must be attended to sometimes..
Cheers for now Lori,
Andestine
