Hi Lori,
Thanks for the ok on posting pics in your giant willow aphid thread - I hoped you wouldn't mind. Btw, the photo link you posted with your message includes a scale bar which if accurate indicates that the specimen in the photo is much smaller than the examples I see at Stony Stratford - most are around 5mm long (excluding wings).

Hey Lori, that one was way back at the beginning of August...so a while ago now.
I really should put more reference stuff up for people myself...but the main Gallery is tedious, lol. Look fwd to seeing what you put up, perhaps we should just put a load of ref in the art section :D

Hi.
I pulled into the car park by St. Benets abbey near Ludham, Norfolk. and it was just siting in a ditch. I managed to creep up, get a couple of shots and then workman stated a pile driver on the river bank behind me and it shot off. Right place, right time and my first water deer. Good finish to the day.
I don't know what happened - I got a surge of energy and overwrote my old website pages with a new template design - all 150 of them! Didn't take as long as I thought it would, so I am now in a position to re-do them - at long last! That said, I would like to seek your approval and permission to feature one of your photos of the SGSB on my website - with named credit, naturally. Would that be OK? :)
