Lancashire Lad

Hi Tim, I do occasionally get across to Gisburn forest, and as you say, it is one of those places that can be very worthwhile. (Last time I was there I left my walking stick in the bird hide at Stocks Res. Needless to say, when I remembered it an hour later and walked back, it had gone). I dare say that I'll be making a couple of fungi hunting visits there within the next few months. Regards, Mike.

Hi Mike. Just a suggestion but if you have the time, a trip to Gisburn forest in North Lancashire is a fairly productive place for a fungi foray. It is a bit of a drive to get there but it usually comes up trumps with all sorts of goodies!
