Hi Nick, I am pleased that you like my shots and your taking the trouble to pass comment is greatly appreciated.
Several people have said they can recognise them as my shots, but I can't see exactly why that would be? - I do spend a good deal of time in trying, whenever possible, to select the best compositional viewpoint and to remove any extraneous bits of debris that might spoil the photos. I often use a small paintbrush and tweezers to get rid of anything that might be lying on the caps etc., and can spend a good ten or fifteen minutes before getting around to pressing the shutter. the saying goes "If the job's worth doing...."
At the end of the day, I want to get the best possible shot from the particular situation, and it is very satisfying to know that a few people are noticing that in the end result.

Hi Mike, your fungi images are really first class, the image stacked shots are particularly well done.
I can tell your shots without even looking at the name, excellent technique and processing,
