sorry I don't actually know a definite site for the youngs helleborine - I was just asking to try and suss out which orchids you havent seen so I could tell you if I seen them.

the 'tyne' helleborine is basically the inland version of the dune helleborine - it isnt a species on its own, jus the inland form tht grows on the heavily magnesium polluted soils on the banks of the river South Tyne :)
and yes i saw the narrow-leaved marsh orchid in anglesey by accident - (altho at the time i didnt know tht it was one, lol) about 4 years ago.
i hav not seen the young's helleborine because its still in dispute over whether it is a species, subsp, or jus a variant. at the moment, it is treated as a variant.

its officially classed as dactylorhiza - along with all the spotted and marsh orchids. doesnt look like it tho does it :S

Wow. that is one nice parent - I bet its expensive with petrol!
My friend is about 73 and he has been botanising for 15 years-ish. He knows where some good plants are - but sometimes thats not the case.
We went looking for bog orchid recently on a bog he had found it last year. We did n't find it cos it was so hard to see!

yo. lol, im guessin yur my age so i dont hav 2 write properly. erm well my mom drives me around - shes very nice about the whole thing and shes been takin me to all corners of the country (literally) for 6 years now :) btw, if u need any species sites id b rely happy to help cuz its relllllyyyy hard to find sum species like the red helleborine for example.
