- 27-08-2009 07:18 PM - permalinkDavy CrockettAll's well Elaine, I have been a busy boy this summer lots to do both at home and at work, and there's the Children, that always need jobs doing. Did i pester my DAD so much!!!!??
- Clinically she shouldn't be as good.Doctors say she is amazing. She has a lot of meds to keep her comfrtable and my daughters been told to increase where she thinks is necessary. He said just to go by Alycia not the clinical diagnosis as Alycia is fighting all the way. There is no cure as her kidneys are failing which affects her heart. She is in her last stage of her illness which basically means all they can do is keep her comfy and happy. They cannot give a time limit as Alycia always exceeds it anyway.I have just waved her off as she is going to see dave benson phillips (fun song factory). He knows she is coming. He is appearing at Exmouth. He has met her several times and they even have his mobile number. He adores her.He took her to the zoo once as he does that kind of thing for hospices with terminal kids.He loved every minute.

I'm fine thanks, how's you. I'm a bit worn round the edges as I have had George over this evening while his mum was at work.
Rain! What's that? Can't remember the last time it rained down here. My garden is gasping! lol
Yes Moo does collect cleavers seeds very well and is growing a nice set of dreadlocks at the moment that I'm going to have to cut out when I can pin her down.
How's the new laptop going. Never got to grips with them myself, though I appreciate they can be quite handy on car and train journeys.
Take care,
Adam - Thank you . I have a lovely video I took of her on facebook watching and singing and acting Mary Poppins on video. It makes it all the harder seeing it to believe how ill she is as she smiles so much.I took it at exeter hospital before she went to Great Ormond Street. Cant find a way of putting a link to it. The only thing I can do is to share to someones email addy or I would show you it.
- Dont want to post this .My grandaughter has been very ill and went into heart failure. Her kidneys are failing and the day we have been dreading is near. She is coming out of Great Ormond Street with meds that will keep her comfortable. We dont know how long we will have with her.My heart is breaking. The family in bits but we have to keep a face on for the kids sake as they dont know yet. So hard.A lot of friends on here but I cannot write this to everyone. Just needed to share. Sorry

Gorgeous day down here today. Spent the day with my son and went swimming. Bleedin' pooped now so going to bed shortly. Night.
