Elaine, your holiday is Spain sounds like it was pretty special:) I envy you, the wildlife sounds like it was amazing and to see a hoopoe! I've never seen one. I know they are spotted occasionally in Britain , but I've never managed to see one:( Glad you had such lovely weather, it's a bit grim up here today:(
