Well, whether just a compact or not you got some great shots! Funny how the blue of the Mediterranean sea is bluer around Greece. Some of those pics make me feel 'homesick' - I find it's much easier for me to feel Greek than English. Real Greek food - There's nothing like it! Plus Retsina and Ouzo (though I no longer drink any alcohol). The smell of the maritime pines and the dry heat and sound of the cigadas(sp?)... Hmmmmmmmm... Glad you had a great time but I'm not at all surprised. :)

Hi Elaine,

Yes that Water I'll Never Forget Whatshisname has recently flowered and I think I have only one shot because something decapitated it! A bird I think. Very small pale blue flowers. The others haven't shown any signs of flowers yet.

I'm currently editing several hundred pics of Damselflies, mostly of an actual emergence from nymph which took 4 hours of my life! Such a privilege :) but not what I planned to do that day. I'll be posting a photographic essay on it but lots of prep needed.
