Ah.....It's a small wildlife world we live in, I didn't think about John and his contacts.
Ummm...............I was thinking I was having a quiet weekend on the meetings/lecture front and would be able to get out with my camera. It seems I tun my back for a second and it's been filled. Amongst other things a christening of one of my wifes' work collegues. I won't complain too much as I'm off to Cardigan tommorow to a free (folk) music festival at the quay and will be stuffing my face with some chips as well. Looks like the photography may have to wait a while longer yet..................ummm

I think some will but most will stay in shelter - don't really know my work with bats is limited :/ If it is tipping down on Saturday night then I reckon all the bat walks will be off anyway.

Anyway, get hubby to take you one day if you can. We watched terns at the beach and I could see that there was a difference and then realised they were Sandwich Terns and they were catching fish as we watched.

We got to Dungeness. Some lady in hide said it was quiet. NOT I thought. Seen more birds than I can ID and my head is full of mental notes to ID later. There was lots of other wildlife and I reckon you would love it.
Have to go, phone sat nav needed.....talk soon...
