Nice shots! :-D
I know, some days the diet has to wait. ;-)
I am tired and am going to bed, but I'm restless and not sure why. Probably related to the bug I had.
I'll bid you good night. x
Apart from the size, Goldcrest fits. It is that sort of colour, with the wing bars, it looks for food in leaves, it never stops looking, and hangs around with flocks of tits at this time of year.
Siskins hang around in the tree tops feeding. I tend to see them in Alders and Birches that sort of thing. Mind you, I don't see many.
Greenfinch is possible if it was more of a yellow streak than a bar.
Listen out for the Goldcrest - very high-pitched zi-zi-zi-zi. Can be quite loud.
Yes, wonderful weather. I could have walked miles today. :-D
Sooooo jealous. Especially the Florida trip, but they all sound good.
Bins are good, but who knows whether they will last.
Yes, I need a birder-buddy. Just someone as enthusiastic as me will do, so we can stand for hours looking and compare thoughts. Not great to do on your own, but I intend to be up earlier this weekend to watch. No hangover this time. LOL
I don't get dieting. I have upped the exercise, and I no longer look too big for my small jeans - so I should be happy. But the scales do not show a difference yet. So it might be the scales, but the waist is about the same as I remember it. So is my shape changing? I'm sure I've lost weight from my tummy. At least 1/2 lb, possibly a pound. I think I am starting to look a bit trimmer. But not according to the measuring aids!!!
You have to keep at it. Like you said, it's a change in lifestyle, not a diet.
I'm good, but still doing that work and it's a right pain. Been birdwatching. Saw that guy again.
He saw:1 Whinchat, 1 Stonechat, 1 Hobby, 13 House Martin, 25 Swallows, 2 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Little Owl, 25+ Stock Doves, 4 Meadow Pipit, 6 Chiffchaff, 3 Bullfinch, 10 Siskins, 1 Linnet (Ian Ellis).
I saw: Stock Doves and Chiffchaff. I heard a Little Owl and possibly heard a Meadow Pipit and Linnets. I was there when he was watching the Alders, possibly for the Siskins. I studied them for a while but decided they were Goldcrest. What can I saw, they sounded like Goldcrest!!! LOL
