Hi John, you're welcome, I have done a lot of research to ID my own insects. I'm not too far from Whisby as the crow flies, 5 miles to the south of Whisby garden centre which is nearby and has lakes. I keep meaning to take my camera down there to see what I can find, I get a few dragonflies and damselflies here but there will be more at the reserve. There's also apparently some rare dragons at Doddington Park wildlife centre which I should make the effort to visit, I guess it's easier to wait for them to come to me!

Hi Janet. Many thanks for helping with the IDs. I see you are in Lincoln. I took quite a number of pics when I visited Whisby Nature Reserve in July 2008. I hope to return in August of this year.
