I have looked at it longingly, I would love to get out again. I am seriously thinking that a rent of a lower riding bent might get me back to it.
The bent I have is quite a scratch to ride, though it does solve some joint problems. I do so remember days of going for a quick ride, and wishing I had a tent with me 'cos I just wanted to go on. Pedal the year away, have a good 2009.

Thanks for that, Jez, and same to you and yours. I am quite disorganised, Mum died about 2 weeks ago and you end up reviewing so many things. I think we will have a good Christmas, but cards etc. have just got lost in the wash.

Hi Phil

I really enjoy myself seeing Chris Packham last night. Great show, smashing guy, great sense of humour! I did ask him on your behalf to when his show in which your daughter helped shoot-"Top 40 Animals" is going to be viewed. The reply I/we got was, it was going to be viewed this Summer, but was cancelled due to The Olympics/Para Olympics! Now it will be either Autumn or Spring, he jostled with it preferring spring as this is a better season in which, for obvious reasons, people can get out & about and take a better interest in wildlife. But still nothing definite as to the actual date! Hope that helps a little?!?

I have edited my avatar slightly, to try and stop Naomi having the giggles. I welcome your opinion.

I am particularly keen to see Chris Packham's new series, because my daughter did some filming with him for it. It will probably only yield a couple of quick shots, but it is nearly a year ago since they did it, and I would hate to miss it. This is why I am a bit single minded about it.

I have a real yen to get back out riding again, I used to go for 60 mile wanders and I miss it. I live in an area (Vale of Pickering) with a massive network of quiet roads, and also good Moors near by. I have been thinking of a recumbent trike, I think I would like to hire one first. I think there is somewhere round here that does it.
