A good host for honey suckle to attract moths like broad bee hawk moths would be lilacs. But I reckon these hovering moths will go for a wide range of garden flowers, so I was reckoning Actinidia Kolomikta, with it's white flowers should atract these moths and a beautiful colouring leaves will make a vibrant splash to any wall in which it could grow! Still looking for others : )

I'll get back to you soon! : ) But off the top of my head Jasmine would be a great moth plant to grow up a wall, and lovely fragrance too. But i'll have a mull and send you a pm. See if you like the sound of any of my suggestions! Best wishes-jez : )

Morning Jez!I am just making a few plans for the garden and will get rid of a wisteria which has never flowered afer 6 years. I have decided I don't even like them any more and if it did ever flower wiouldn't actually fit in with my style of garden now. So .... what should I replace it with? It will have to go against a 6 foot wall, will get the morning sun and once it gets to the top of the wall will get full sun. It has to be wildlife friendly, preferably a moth and butterfly attracter - but not a Buddleia - I have 5. I would like to be able to use it as a host for a honeysuckle. Any ideas?
The saracoccas look great in the front and have filled out - the small flowers are getting ready to open, and I have had the most wonderful display of million bells trailing down the pots. and they are still going strong.
see you around,
Shirley
