Hi Jez.Thanks for the suggestion.I'm currently trying Growing Success cat repellent powder. It smells garlicy and seems to be doing the trick but only when freshly applied(it says 1 application lasts 2-3 weeks),so if I keep my eye on things its not as bad.At least at the minute when they dig their little holes they are doing it between the plants and just scattering them with soil rather than digging them upm like they were when they were first planted.
The plants are all growing nicely by the way and one of the bugle has flowered so I'm well pleased. Thanks for the help and I'll keep you posted.
Hi Jez & Tuftie, sorry we can`t make it this weekend for the spitfull. We are clearing out dads pond 400gal !!!!!!! It will be very smelly & yucky!!! I may have got rid of the smell by when we next meet. I`m hoping to come over on Whit weekend, I will let you know.
The hedges do look beautiful now don`t they!
Hi Jez, yes I've been intending to get down that way for a while now, it's an area I've heard so much about, though because of my recent personal problems I've never up to now managed to organise a suitable time to visit the area. Hopefully now things have improved a little for me, I'll be plotting one or two routes out with a view to getting at least a couple of walks in down there. I'll get back to you with a trip report to include a few photographs as soon as I do so. Thanks for contacting me.
Hi Jez, have fun at the Spitfull. I guess there will be loads of butterflies about as it`s lovely & warm. We are busy for a couple of weekends but I will be in touch.
