Hi Jeff, I am involved with a charitable partnership (south cumbria rivers trust)aimed at improving the water quality and habitat of the coniston and crake partnership. hello!
As our resident kingfisher expert..... Can you recommend a good book on kingfisher ecology and behaviour?

I'm doing alright on my barn owl knowledge but there are very definately gaps in my kingfisher abilities - how much suitable river/stream corridor does a pair generally need for example!

Davy - isn't Deer Boy the Spurs fan with the "Tottenham is my religion White Hart Lane is my church" signature? If so, I suspect he may have been on an intensive praying course! Still, seems to have worked - a Messiah has turned up!! (I'm a Man U man myself). Jeff
