Hi Jeapsey
It was the grass species in your image and a stab at habitat type by me! I've had a couple of sightings in the same habitat and have wondered what their prey was.
Squeeking can be brilliant - my memorable occassion was when a weasel ran right up to me and out its front feet on my right wellie before realising what was going on and shooting of at top speed. I don't see half as many as I did years ago.

And yes it was seen in a coastal habitat, why do you ask?
I first saw this little fella between two tussocks of grass eyeing me. So I used the squeaking on the back of the hand technique to see if it would entice him closer. It worked a treat, he was hunting a grassy mound right in front of me for a good 5 - 10mins before realising it was me making the noise. Great moment.
