    Hi jeapsey,
    Yes short eared owls have been seen on two tree island and occasionally by the sea wall between Leigh and Benfleet.I saw one last year but havent this year-yet!
    Have seen a peregrine over the marshes a couple of times.Too quick and fleeting to get a photo though!

    Hi Jeapsey, no, haven't got to Ingatstone yet. Have been going to Hannifield Res. quite a bit as some fairly rare 'visitors' have been spotted. Always find it very relaxing there and have met some very knowledgable people in the hides! Not quite sure whereabouts in Ingatstone you mean? Only know the Ivy Hill Hotel (great food!).

    I would love to go to Scotland, especially when i see all the great pics on here that people have taken, maybe next year i'll try & get up there.

    I live near Exmoor & absolutely love it, don't think i could live in the city.
    I've been meaning to get to the Valley of the Rocks for a while now to try & get some sunrise & sunset pics but last weekend was rubbish & like you say this weekend doesn't look too good.
    Typically i've seen some lovely sunrises on my way to work this week.

    So what's your local wildlife places then????

    Hi Jeapsey,
    Working hard too! I have been going over sea wall a lot lately-usually Sundays.I am an early riser so have been over there at sunrise,have taken some lovely shots-on my Gallery.Seen kestrels and sparrowhawks over there too!!
    Still walk my favourite valley walk where I have heard and seen a little owl!!
    Quiet this time of year though,am looking forward to next spring/summer when the birds start nesting again.Hopefully the kestrels at the castle will have another good year(will let you know when they are back)
    Hope you are ok and not working too hard

    I see you've been doing a bit of decorating ;o) great profile pic as well.
    As long as the boys do a professional job then Watford should be a good draw.

    Disappointing at the weekend especially the first goal, but like you say hopefully they can bounce back this weekend.

    I went to a place called Valley of the Rocks on Sunday but the weather was rubbish might try & get there again this weekend if the weathers better.

    No worries, you've got some great images.

    Another excellent win, hopefully we can get another home tie in the next round.
    No doubt Ar5ena1 will get an easy tie, good to see Burnley win as well :o)

    It was good to see Pav & Fraizer get a couple each although i hope Bent can continue his run at the weekend.

    Up to much this weekend ???

    I'll film/photograph anything although deer have been my main subject so far.
    I started using a new camera/camcorder this year so still trying to work out what does what.

    I agree although if they do put out a weakened team hopefully we'll take advantage.
    Hoping i can get it on the internet :o)
