Lol, easy to do! Aha, now I know what you mean, but I'm not familiar with the 6-belted Clearwing, in fact I'm very unfamiliar with all the clearwings! They are up this way, and I do get calcareous species even though I'm not in that type of habitat. If I live long enough I might get to see more clearwing species! ;^)

Gosh ,I replied to you on my own visitor page, well by 6-belts, I meant Six-belted Clearwings,I understand why you didn't guess as I'm sure nobody actually calls them that.
Cheers Jason:-)

Jason, the only real areas I look at are in my garden! Amazing what I'm finding there, even better now I have a pond. 6-belts? I don't know what they are! 6-spot Burnets? I've only seen one of those here, that was years ago. I saw a Humming-bird Hawk moth at my purple Phlox Nicki not long after getting the Red-tipped but it didn't hang around. :( If you want to work on your pheromones, leave off the deodorant. :))

Thanks for accepting Janet:-)So what have you been looking at mainly this summer?any particular areas.Nice one for finding the Clearwing. It is one I haven't seen but I've swept dozens of 6-belts off of Bird's- foot Trefoil.I will have to work on my pheromones:-)
