Pumpkins are alright, once you get the knack - honest! You have to be able to have a feel for the shape of them though, otherwise the angle at which you carve can cut into another area which needs to be worked on ;) Owen mastered it instinctively :)

When they were there summer 2008 they were there on and off all day. Sometimes flying off, but always returning. Although, I always reckon early morn is best for birds. Happy hunting.

How do James. Just letting you know, there have been up to twenty crossbills by the car-park at Binn Green for the last couple of days. The last time they were there they were very confiding.
