Hi James! Did you have a good night's rest last night? We missed you in Noctuids :( Me? lol, not so manic but not so down either...so I won't complain ;-)
Oh dear, that's awful when that happens. Probably got too excited with all that talk about cooking and camping, lol! Good idea to try to get into a better sleep pattern. I went to bed for a while today and although it seemed a good idea at the time, now it seems a waste...Not as bad today thanks James. A tad on the manic side (I am not bi-polar! lmao) but it's better than being right down at rock bottom and beyond....;-) xx
Hi James. Yes thank you. Paris is always wonderful but this was the first time I have seen it by night! Totally unintentional, but we missed the last Eurostar back, and so had to find a hotel to stay in until next morning!
Hi James,
the green tiger beetles were at Park Bridge, up Rocher vale there, near the river medlock path. they are also found on our moors, on dry crumbly peat areas.Seen them above/behind indians head rocks.
They are really, as far as I know, heathland critters and use dry sand to trap other insects etc in burrows - so thats why we see them on dry peat, its pretty much the same effect. The adults run about a lot (being tiger beetles!) and are a devil to photo, but this one was a bit sleepy on a coldish day!
Just keep your eyes open at ground level besides watching the skies!!!!
Good luck, and hope your stomach is improving.
Ken.
Sensitive things stomachs. I have a pal who has had a lot of bother over the years with Crohns. Mind you, he's in fine fettle now. Hope you get things sorted anyway.
